You guys remember Jade & Hannah? Yeah, seeing someone fall into a coma is potentially traumatizing for a kindergartener, but Jade is doing her best to keep her daughter's focus on more positive things. They are "helping Aude heal" by bringing her drawings, reading her stories and chewing her comatose ear off everyday. Jade not only wins Mother of the Year, she is Friend of the Year also! Aaron is doing his part too, as we will see in exactly two pages.

Ah, I've decided to make Jade a little less barbie doll and a little more human - can you tell?

By the way, it's been a while but yeah - the original for this page, without the text, is for sale (50$). It's lead pencil on bristol paper, a little bigger than letter size.
